Circus Hobden

I was walking through a home decor store this week and I came across a hanging canvas that said,

"A Mom is one who sacrifices her body, sleep, social life, spending money, eating hot meals, peeing alone, patience, energy and sanity for LOVE!"

Growing up I know my Mom sacrificed every single day to provide for us and to ensure we had absolutely everything we needed. We weren't rich by any means but we always had food on the table and plenty of love in our home. Yes, there were numerous days I packed my bag because I figured I obviously knew better than my Mom. Stubborn and determined like my Father, I somehow repeatedly ended up taking her for granted. It wasn't until I had kids of my own that I truly came into a humbling recognition of the notion that everything I am today...she helped me to become.

On this weeks Mom Conversation, I had the privilege of interviewing my Mom Shirley. She is passionate, emotional, courageous and at any moment would do anything for her kids or grandchildren. Every single day she inspires me to be a better Mom to my kids.
